Regardless of types, once you have 5 items in the stock, The background will turn darker and you will be entering a special mode. That's called Roaring Mode. Roaring Mode has a few special effects listed below: "Spiritual Attack" will be triggered automatically when you take a hit. You may manually cast "Spiritual Attack" by pressing the bomb button. (Roaring Mode will end immediately if "Spiritual Attack" is used) Your bullets will generate Point Items (green) on hitting enemies. Extra Animal Spirits will spawn if Roaring Mode ends without using "Spiritual Attack", Respective bonus items will spawn depending on what kind of Fish Spirit Items you have at the end of the Roaring Mode. Furthermore, if you have 3 or more Animal Spirits (Wolf, Otter, or Eagle) of one kind in stock, you will be entering "Berserk Roaring Mode" instead. |

Once you have 3 or more Animal Spirits (Wolf, Otter, or Eagle) of one kind and reach 5 spirits in total, You'll be entering Berserk Roaring Mode. Berserk Roaring Mode has extra bonuses compared to regular Roaring mode: 3 or more Wolf Spirits Hyper-boost focused shot. This will last longer if you choose Wolf as your shot type. 3 or more Otter Spirits Turns enemy bullets into Point Items (green). You acquire the Otter-Barrier. Power-up Item powers up your shots once a certain threshold is reached. Point Item The more you collect with Point of Collection the more score it gives. Piece of Spell Card gives 1 spell card per 3 pieces. Piece of 1UP gives 1 life per 3 pieces. If you stop shooting while in Roaring Mode, Roaring Mode timer will run out slightly slower. Berserk Roaring Mode's duration scales with number of spirits you have in stock. 5 animal spirits of a kind has the longest duration. Collecting Animal Spirits in Roaring Mode will increase current duration. Collecting Fish Spirit Items in Roaring Mode will immediately spawn respective items. Animal Spirit Items will change its type after a short time. They will stop changing if you stay close to it. Animal Spirits of your shot type will spawn once you get hit. Spirits spawned this way will not change its type. Animal Spirits that are not collected will run off the screen after a long time. By long I mean really long. Animal Spirits will never run off the screen during the conversation. Which means you may stall for the type you needed during the conversion. |
