Do we really need to download the entire english translation only to get this file changed in another language? Just copying this file changing the language code (en, es, de, etc...) to the rest of the languages (in order to download ONLY the spanish translation to get the entire translation, for example) wasn't enough?

Good point. I've now added redirect handling to the wiki extension - simply creating a redirect to a file for another language copies it (see the Spanish version of this file).

For the future, I'm thinking about adding various individual base patches for certain parameters (Latin script, left-to-right writing, Western name order, etc.) which only include these small changes. This would require dependency management in the configuration tool for it to not be annoying for users, though, which is why we don't have it yet. --NamelessLegacy (talk) 12:16, 31 July 2013 (UTC)
