Every users

We keep access logs in plain text for up to 48 hours, and then in an encrypted form for 7 days. These logs contain the IP address of every user accessing the website, with the URLs accessed from these IPs.

We collect those for server maintenance needs, usually to investigate issues and try to identify scrapper bots. We also use them occasionally to release anonymised statistics. When building these statistics, the IP addresses are used only to have statistics based on the number of users rather than the number of requests.

Cookies

The cookies stored for anonymous users contain preferences that you manually selected like your display language. They are only used for the proper operation of the website.

Registered and logged in users

We store all the data that you willingly send during your registration: most notably, your username and, if you choose to use one, your email address. All your contributions on this website are linked to your username.

You can request for your account to be removed by contacting one of our administrators (look at the Contact section on the sidebar, which will definitely be more up to date than this article. As of today, the best way to contact us is by going to our Discord and pinging the Admin role (or sending a private message to someone with the Admin role if you don't want your removal request to be seen publicly)). We will then remove your account, and move all your contributions to the Anonymous account.

Cookies

In addition to the cookies for anonymous users, logged in users also have session cookies, which are required for the normal operation of the website, to keep you logged in from one page to another.

Users registered with an e-mail address

If you register with an email address, we will also share your email address with Sinch Mailjet, which is the email provider we use for sending emails. Their data policy is here: Mailjet Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy We don't share your email address with anyone else.
