@ This is Yamashiro Takane's theme. Yamawaro is a mountain monster that is the counterpart to kappa. It's a song that sounds like he's playing around with battles, as befits an intelligent monster (?). It's an interesting song with a nostalgic feel to it.

@ This is the theme of stage three. I imagined it as a slightly open plateau on top of a mountain. It seems that in the past, these difficult-to-reach high plains were often called hidden villages for the Heike clan or ninja. I don't think that's true, but it's romantic.

@ This is Komakusa Sannyo's theme. She is known as Komakusa Tayuu because of the way she stands with a tobacco pipe in her hand. I created a straightforward, unique song. I was aiming for something more yakuza-like, but what is this mid-boss feel?... Well, she does act as a gatekeeper, so she is unmistakably a mid-boss.

No. 8 Abandoned industrial remains
@ This is the theme of stage 4. In the past, mining was such a big industry that towns were built around it. Roads and railways were developed for transportation, and they supported Japan's industry. However, most of the mines are now closed. I came up with this song because I felt nostalgia for the remains of the mines.

No. 9 Kamidai ore
@ This is the theme of Tamatsukuri Misumaru. I composed this with the image of confronting a mysterious person deep in a dungeon, not sure if he is friend or foe. That's exactly what it sounds like (lol). Now, as for the Izanagi substance that suddenly appeared, it appears in the music CD of the same name that I made, so please check that out too. It is a mysterious substance after all.

No. 10 The long-awaited Omagato is the time

@ This is the theme of the fifth stage. The song starts with an image of a fantastical view from a mountain, then the appearance of a tengu makes the world suddenly feel closer, and as the world gets smaller your heart feels lighter...that's the kind of feel it has. Compared to the oppressive feeling of Rainbow Dragon Cave on the fourth stage, this one is light-hearted and fun, and the boss is easy to understand, which feels good.

No. 11 Starry mountain of Tenma
@ This is Iizunamaru Megumu's theme. It's a song that has a playful feel, but also a touch of melancholy, befitting a big Tengu. The main phrase personally brings back memories for me, and for some reason it makes my eyes and head heat up. Maybe it's because songs with phrases that seem like games like this are almost never seen anymore.

@ This is the theme of Tenkyu Chimata. She is the god of the market. The rainbow is a place where it intersects with another world. The place where different things intersect is her territory. The song is a mix of fun, lively parts with a light rhythm and powerful parts that sound almost like screams.

No. 14 Fantastic underground railroad network
@ This is the theme of the extra stage. It is based on the image of Reimu and her friends, who have obtained the magatama (oxygen tank) and are free to explore the mines. It was supposed to be the start of the counterattack for the girls, who had been constantly manipulated... But they never expected to end up being manipulated even more.

No. 15 Dragon King Killing Princess
@ This is Himemushi Momoyo's theme. She's the centipede princess. Well, no matter how much I like insects, centipedes are a bit... They're ugly, poisonous, relatively common and not very rare, so all the factors that make centipedes disliked are there, but I still don't like them. But the song turned out to be really fun and cool, just like a centipede. I think I might like them after all.
