These are not part of the original Japanese game, but can optionally be used in translations instead of the original plaintext.

  • All sprites have a width of 384 pixels, covering the entire playfield.
  • Your translation can pick either ti_sttitle.png or ti_stlogo.png, with the latter taking precedence.
    • ti_sttitle.png only covers the rotating stage title. Using this image leaves the non-rotating yellow STAGE text as a hardcoded ASCII string.
    • ti_stlogo.png covers both the non-rotating yellow STAGE text and the title itself. The yellow STAGE line would also rotate if this image is used, but it could be translated using non-ASCII characters. Your choice.
  • ti_bossname.png is covered by western_name_order.
  • ti_bosstitle.png and ti_bossname.png are overlaid on top of each other, with the title being rendered above the name, as you would expect. They will only be applied together; if one of the two is missing, you still end up with the plaintext from the scenario scripts.
