This is supposed to be a portal page for the Taiwan Chinese in traditional script translations. Here, you could discuss translation guidelines, your progress and anything else that pertains to this project. Feel free to design this page, use as many subpages as you want, and to later replace or remove this template if it bothers you. |
Recent changes
Though zh-hant-tw has been established as a new language branch, you are still recommanded to use zh-hant as your default interface language. Zh-hant-tw is the language code of game translations and don't use zh-tw anymore.
Overview
This is NamelessFairy. I am trying to learn more about traditional Chinese so I choose this portal. As I can see, this portal tends to be an independent language portal and it will follow zh-tw rules (not zh-hk or simply converting of zh-hans) in actual translation. Besides, I want to declare two things. The first, I hope this branch can get rid of common Japanese translation manners such as adding some special modal particles, resulting a text a bit like Kyōwago, and we use native words instead. The second, I hope we can translate by ourself, other than copy and paste from other places. though refering to them is allowed.
Now working on ...
Due to the limitation of Japanese language knowledge, I am trying to translate raw texts from English, also I will review them with zh-hans translations.
